With sincere pride, we look back on the rich tradition of exhibitions that have come to life within our walls over the past thirty years. In the Old Salvius Church, art is not merely something to look at; it is an experience that merges with the sacred stillness and the historic splendour of the architecture. Our successful formula is rooted in a deep connection with the building itself. Every two years, we carefully curate a thematic exhibition that enters into a direct dialogue with the church. At times, one of the unique medieval vault paintings forms the point of departure; at other times, we are guided by the symbolism of a remarkable item from the inventory.
